At Meiji University, we have a tuition assistance program (reduction or exemption) for privately funded foreign students. The purpose of this program is to reduce the financial burden imposed on those students and help them continue in school. The rate of assistance for 2010 was 30% (the rate of assistance is subject to change each year). The program is due for a review in 2011. - Academic fees are divided into two biannual installments.
First semester payment deadline: April 30th, for both first years and all subsequent years. (Transfer payment slip sent out in early April)
Second semester payment deadline: October 20th (Transfer payment slip sent out in late September)
First year enrollment charges include the admission fee, the first semester academic fee (not including admission fee) and miscellaneous fees. - Admission fees are only paid in the first year.
- After enrollment, in the case of certain subjects an additional charge will be applied. (Subjects related to the teaching profession, social education supervisor, curator, librarian, library teacher, etc.)
