Meiji University, one of the nation’s leading schools with 130 years of history, will offer its second ‘Cool Japan Summer Program’ in 2011 for you to learn about today’s dazzling Japan.
Focusing mainly on Japanese Manga and Anime, we have made a program in which you will experience real Japan, where ‘history and the present’, ‘tradition and avant-garde’ meet and are interwoven and yet diverse.
During this 12-day program, you will have unique academic lectures on Japanese culture by prominent experts. Also, you will have various field trips, hands-on studio workshops, a 3-day trip to Kyoto, and home stay experience in Tokyo and much more.
You will have eye-opening experiences every day that enable you to discover true Japan with fresh eyes and you will get new knowledge of Japan and its aesthetics.
